Prostate Cancer Screening

This report was prepared within the context of the collaboration between the Institut national d’excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS) and the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) in partnership with the Canada Research Chair in Implementation of Shared Decision Making in Primary Care for the update of the CMQ’s prostate cancer screening guidelines published in 1998: “Dépistage du cancer de la prostate : Utilisation de l’APS”.

This report is a summary of the exploration of the scientific literature on the efficacy of prostate cancer screening and the identification of the different available decision aids.
