Algorithm guiding the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (only available in French)

Designed in collaboration with the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec and the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec, the publication titled Algorithme d’utilisation des anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens (AINS) (algorithm guiding the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs [NSAID]) contains key messages and analysis diagrams for associated gastrointestinal, cardiovascular and renal risks.

In addition, to optimize your NSAID prescriptions, a tool combining the three most important key messages to take under consideration is also available.

Please note that these tools were created by the Conseil du médicament, now known as INESSS. INESS continues to distribute the tools, as the information they contain is still current.
