Current projects: Optimal usage guide on dabigatran (Pradax)
20 July 2011

In April 2011, INESSS recommended that dabigatran (PradaxTM) be added to the lists of medications, under the exceptional medication section. PradaxTM is used under certain conditions to treat nonvalvular atrial fibrillation in people who require anticoagulation.  INESSS also emphasized, however, that dabigatran should be used with caution. In this context, INESSS has decided to develop an optimal usage guide for PradaxTM.
